The NIBCO® Press System Ball & Check valve body is manufactured from lead Free Brass alloy and is dezincification resistant (DZR). The Ball & Check valve is designed with press-to-connect end connections, and an inboard bead with EPDM O-ring for quick and easy copper to copper joinery. The ball valve is combined with an inline check valve, ideally to be used in constricted space and help reduce installation time with less extra parts and connections to make. Properly applying pressure from a press-fit tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, permanent, watertight seal in seconds, with no flame, solder or flux.
The NIBCO® Press System is user friendly, quick and easy to install. When properly crimped a unique "N" witness mark is clearly visible. The lead free ball valve is specifically designed for use in systems that deliver water for human consumption.
