• The NIBCO Press System® bronze Y-strainer features press x press female end connections with an inboard bead and EPDM O-rings for quick and easy joinery to the piping system. Simply applying pressure from a press-fit tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, permanent, watertight seal in seconds, with no flame, solder or flux. Y-strainers are installed upstream to protect valves, regulators, and meters, etc., from rust, pipe scale and dirt.
• The NIBCO® bronze Y-strainer protects equipment by filtering solids from flowing liquids in the piping system with the use of a wire mesh straining screen. The strainer is a "Y" type with a branch angled off the flow path. It features a solid cap for screen maintenance. The NIBCO Press System® is user friendly, quick and easy to install.
