The swing check valve prevents backflow by automatically closing when fluid reverses direction. It is equipped with a bolted bonnet for maintenance accessibility. The swing check valve includes a renewable stainless steel seat and disc. The ductile iron Class 150 check valve features raised face flanged end connections for easy installation. The check valve is recommended for commercial and industrial steam, water, oil and gas services.
• Swing checks may be installed in horizontal positions (or vertical with flow moving up). With its ductility, the valve displays higher physical properties than standard grey cast iron.
